Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the optimal operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, plumbing, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, ensuring precise repairs and minimal downtime.
- Perform repairs on HVAC/R equipment including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), appliances, and mechanical components.
- Install new HVAC systems or upgrade existing setups following HVAC design plans and specifications.
- Operate welding equipment and perform mechanical repairs involving piping, ductwork, or structural components as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions for compliance and future reference.
- Drive company vehicles responsibly to various job sites while adhering to all safety protocols and traffic laws.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), boilers, and mechanical components.
- Proven experience as a service technician with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
- Strong mechanical skills with proficiency in equipment repair, welding, plumbing, and appliance servicing.
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles and field service operations across commercial or industrial environments.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues within HVAC/R systems.
- Experience working with property maintenance teams to support building operations efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
- Knowledge of safety standards related to ammonia refrigeration systems and other hazardous materials handling.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
