Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC (or equivalent).

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC system operation and maintenance.

• Knowledge of chillers, cooling towers, pumps, ducts, motors, and controls.

• Familiarity with BMS operations is an advantage.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Summary:

The HVAC Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and comfort. The role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and adherence to safety and energy efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and control HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF units, and ducting systems.

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure efficient system performance.

• Monitor BMS (Building Management System) for alarms and take corrective action as needed.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues, making necessary repairs or escalating to senior technicians/engineers.

• Maintain daily logs of equipment operations, performance, and maintenance activities.

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and energy conservation practices.

• Coordinate with facility management and other technicians for smooth operations.

• Respond promptly to breakdowns, complaints, and emergency service calls.

• Maintain proper inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables.

• Support energy-saving initiatives and contribute to reducing operational costs.
