HVAC Service Technician

Position Summary:

The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. This person will serve as a face of Hometown Air, providing exceptional customer service while working independently in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini splits, and ventilation systems

• Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups

• Accurately document services performed and communicate findings with the office team and clients

• Educate customers on system operation and maintenance

• Ensure compliance with safety policies and industry standards

• Occasionally assist with installations as needed

• Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours service

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of HVAC field experience preferred

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills

• Must be dependable, professional, and able to work independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
