HVAC Service Technician

Mountain West HVAC is looking to hire a highly experienced HVAC Service Technician with a broad range of experience, attention to detail and the ability to run commercial and residential service and repair calls in a self sufficient manor.

Mountain West is not a private equity backed company that treats you as a sales number. Knowledge and abilities to diagnose and repair HVAC systems is the most important asset of a candidate for this position.

Job Description: As a Service Technician you are a seasoned professional responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex HVAC systems. This role involves handling advanced troubleshooting, performing repairs and replacements, conducting preventive maintenance, and providing expert-level customer service. Our Service Technicians ensures the highest level of system performance, customer satisfaction, and adherence to industry standards.

Education/Training Requirements:

• EPA 608 certification
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Experience Requirements: Possesses all knowledge and qualifications of an entry level Service Technician AND is self-sufficient on making invoices/pricing and selling equipment, preventative repairs correctly.

Skills/Qualifications: Needs little to no assistance from the service manager to be able to diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC system issues and malfunctions.
• Perform advanced repairs and component replacements as necessary.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and system inspections.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Utilize advanced testing equipment and tools to diagnose system problems accurately.
• Interpret and analyze system specifications, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Stay updated on industry advancements, regulations, and best practices.
• Mentor and train less experienced service technicians.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.

Equipment: Must have tools required for you to preform you job.

Knowledge and proper use of ServiceTitan is a plus.

Preferred HVAC Experience: 5- 10 years or equivalent

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
