To provide maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience.
Qualifications
- EPA Certified (required)
- 5 years experience or journeyman HVAC level (preferred)
Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicle
- Arrive at jobsite at scheduled time and location as dispatched
- Relocate from one jobsite to another jobsite as dispatched during the workday
- Follow instructions from supervisor and/or dispatcher and carry out in timely manner
- Inform and educate customers about residential planned maintenance agreements
- Inform and educate customers on additional products or services available through company
- Inform customer of replacement options following company guidelines
- Have/develop basic knowledge of electrical and refrigeration principles
- Communicate with customers and collect at the time of service on maintenance visits and service calls
- Ability to work staggered schedule if required
- Work on-call rotation (week long on-call)
- Always maintain professional appearance and attitude
- Complete all service related forms properly
- Provide all customers with new / renewal maintenance agreement program information
- Have/develop basic knowledge of service tools and testing devices
- Have/develop soldering skills
- Have/develop customer service skills
- Perform filter changes unassisted
- Develop skills to perform planned maintenance on residential systems utilizing maintenance checklist
Schedule & Service Area
- Monday - Friday: start at 8:00-4:30 or until scheduled calls are done
- On-call Monday at 8:00am through Sunday at 10:00pm (currently one week on, three weeks off)
- On-call ends at 10:00pm every night and starts again at 8:00am, this time is for accepting service calls to run, so you may be out later than 10:00pm running a call
- 7 holidays off a year, Thanksgiving and Christmas on-call on separate rotation
This is a physically demanding job and requires the ability to get in and out of tight attic, crawlspace, and basement spaces. Applicants will need to be okay with working in these spaces.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
