HVAC Supervisor

Job Title: HVAC Supervisor – Interior Fit-Out ProjectsJob Summary

The HVAC Supervisor is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and ensuring the quality installation of HVAC systems for interior fit-out projects. The role involves managing site activities, coordinating with other trades, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications, and delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Execution

• Supervise HVAC installation works including ducting, chilled water piping, VRF/VRV, FCUs, AHUs, exhaust systems, and ventilation.
• Ensure HVAC works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Monitor daily site activities and allocate manpower efficiently.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with Project Manager, MEP engineers, consultants, main contractors, and other trades (electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, interiors).
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates and technical input.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and authorities.

Quality Control

• Ensure workmanship meets project quality standards and industry best practices.
• Conduct regular inspections and resolve installation issues.
• Ensure testing, commissioning, balancing, and handover documentation are completed properly.

Material & Resource Management

• Plan and request materials in line with project timelines.
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
• Verify deliveries and ensure materials meet approved submittals.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Enforce site safety rules and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe working practices.
• Ensure HVAC installations comply with local codes, regulations, and standards.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site reports, manpower reports, and progress tracking.
• Assist in preparation of as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
• Report delays, risks, and technical issues to management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
• 5–8 years of experience in HVAC works, with at least 3–5 years in interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems used in commercial interiors (offices, retail, hospitality).
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, shop drawings, and schematics.
• Experience in testing, commissioning, and handover procedures.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with local authority requirements and industry standards.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
