HVAC Supervisor

The HVAC Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating all HVAC installation, testing, and commissioning activities at construction sites. The role ensures that HVAC works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day HVAC installation activities, including ductwork, chilled water piping, VRF/VRV systems, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
• Ensure HVAC works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
• Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for HVAC works.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and approved methodologies.
• Review HVAC shop drawings and ensure installations comply with local authority regulations and project specifications.
• Supervise testing, balancing, commissioning, and handover activities of HVAC systems.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to HVAC installations.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and company policies.
• Maintain daily progress reports, manpower records, and material tracking reports.
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
• Attend coordination and progress meetings and provide updates on project status.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, VRF/VRV systems, ventilation systems, FCUs, AHUs, and duct installations.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of HVAC testing, balancing, and commissioning procedures.
• Familiarity with local authority requirements and industry standards.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• HVAC-related certifications are an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in HVAC supervision within construction projects.
• Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments is preferred.
• GCC/UAE construction experience is highly desirable.

Other Requirements:

• Sound knowledge of HVAC installation standards, safety practices, and quality control procedures.
• Ability to supervise HVAC technicians, foremen, and subcontractors effectively.
• Experience in testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.

Pay: AED1,834.74 - AED8,051.45 per month
