HVAC Technician

The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. The role ensures all HVAC systems operate efficiently and comply with safety and quality standards in line with Qatar regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including chillers, split units, package units, and ventilation systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per scheduled plans.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems and implement effective solutions.
• Monitor system performance and ensure energy efficiency.
• Handle refrigerants safely in accordance with environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and logs.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and service requests.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance teams to complete tasks efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or technical certification in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance within facility management or similar industry.
• Good knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with local regulations and safety standards in Qatar.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
