Responsibilities:

Support the preparation of commercial proposals, including scoping, budgeting, and scheduling.

Oversee day-to-day execution of physical modelling and research studies, including budget control.

Communicate with members of the physical modelling team and laboratory operations team.

Represent NMDC at conferences and workshops, presenting study results and insights.

Design physical models and specify appropriate instrumentation.

Supervise and check model construction.

Verify primary data generated by studies.

Analyze project data to provide input for project reports.

Ensure adherence to Health and Safety and quality assurance procedures.

Write and review project reports and other deliverables (drawings, etc.).
Qualifications and Experience:

Master’s Degree in Civil, Coastal, or Maritime Engineering, Physics, or Oceanography is required,
or
a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Engineering and Design within related industries, including at least 3 years in a Physical Modelling Hydraulic Laboratory.
