Hydraulic Mechanic

Job Purpose:

The Hydraulic Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems, equipment, and components. This role ensures all hydraulic machinery operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems and components such as pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, hoses, and fittings.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify leaks, worn parts, or malfunctions, and recommend preventive maintenance measures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals to perform accurate repairs.
• Perform system testing, calibration, and pressure checks to ensure proper functioning.
• Disassemble and reassemble hydraulic machinery for overhaul or replacement of defective parts.
• Maintain accurate service records, including parts usage, repair times, and test results.
• Ensure all work is performed following safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Assist in training junior technicians and provide technical support to other departments when required.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Diploma or technical certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in hydraulic maintenance and repair (marine, industrial, or heavy equipment industry preferred).
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of hydraulic circuits and control systems.
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools, gauges, and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to operate lathes, milling machines, and other workshop equipment (if required).

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
