Hydro Testing Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hydro Testing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5–6 years of hands-on experience in pressure testing (hydro and pneumatic), valve maintenance, and electrical/mechanical testing procedures. This role is critical to ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of pressurized systems and components.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests using chart recorders and calibrated gauges.
• Conduct pipe freezing operations for isolation and maintenance activities.
• Carry out valve maintenance and overhauling, including inspection, cleaning, and reassembly.
• Execute Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) calibration and functional testing.
• Perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) to ensure electrical safety compliance.
• Conduct Earth Pit Testing and Megger Testing for grounding and insulation verification.
• Maintain accurate test records, calibration certificates, and inspection reports.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and client specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers and QA/QC teams for approvals and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 5–6 years of relevant field experience.
• Strong knowledge of pressure testing procedures and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with chart recorders, pressure gauges, and test rigs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and test plans.
• Certification in PAT, PRV calibration, or related testing methods is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
