IBM MQ / IBM Cloud Pak Developer

We are currently looking for an experienced IBM MQ / IBM Cloud Pak Developer to join our talented team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing messaging solutions using IBM MQ and IBM Cloud Pak technologies. You will work closely with our clients to deliver reliable and scalable integration solutions that facilitate real-time communication and data exchange across applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software development with a focus on IBM MQ and IBM Cloud Pak.
• Strong knowledge of messaging systems, including design patterns and best practices for IBM MQ.
• Experience with cloud-native application development using containers and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go.
• Knowledge of integration technologies and APIs (REST, SOAP).
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience in Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain messaging solutions using IBM MQ to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement IBM Cloud Pak solutions to support cloud-native integrations and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain API documentation and setup integrating monitoring tools to ensure system health.
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure software quality and adherence to best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in messaging systems and cloud technologies, and implement them as needed.

• In-depth knowledge of IBM MQ architecture and best practices.
• Strong proficiency in developing cloud-native applications using IBM Cloud Pak.
• Ability to design effective messaging patterns for application integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to handle challenges effectively.
