Job Summary:

I-Ice Cream is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Ice Cream Shop Manager to lead daily operations at our store. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering a fun and welcoming experience for both customers and team members. You will be responsible for overseeing staff, managing inventory, ensuring food safety compliance, and driving sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Staff Management:
• Recruit, train, and schedule employees
• Lead, motivate, and coach the team to ensure excellent customer service
• Monitor performance and provide regular feedback
• Customer Service:
• Ensure a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all customers
• Handle customer concerns, feedback, or complaints professionally
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Operations & Inventory:
• Oversee day-to-day shop operations
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and track stock levels
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and health/safety standards
• Sales & Marketing:
• Monitor sales performance and meet revenue goals
• Promote store events, seasonal specials, and community involvement
• Collaborate with ownership on local marketing efforts and social media
• Financial Responsibilities:
• Manage cash handling, deposits, and POS systems
• Monitor labor costs, waste, and other key metrics
• Prepare daily/weekly reports as needed

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in food service or retail management (ice cream or dessert industry a plus)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards
• Proficient in basic computer and POS systems
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
