Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated Immigration Paralegal or Paralegal Assistant with hands-on experience in H-1B and family-based immigration petitions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and eager to contribute to a collaborative legal team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications (including H-1B, family-based, and other employment-based cases).
• Draft forms, letters, and supporting documentation.
• Communicate with clients, attorneys, and government agencies (USCIS, NVC, DOS, DOL).
• Maintain case files and track deadlines.
• Conduct immigration-related legal research as needed.
• Support attorneys in preparing for filings, interviews, and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in political science, legal studies, or international relations).
• Experience preparing and filing H-1B and family-based immigration petitions required.
• Prior law firm or immigration practice experience preferred.
• Strong writing, organization, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with immigration software (LawLogix, Docketwise, or similar) a plus.
• Professional communication and client-service skills.
