Job Title: Import Accountant
Location: Sarkhej, Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Job Description

The role involves managing import documentation, costing, vendor reconciliation, and compliance with customs and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting for import transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare costing sheets (freight, insurance, customs duty, GST).
  • Reconcile vendor accounts and handle foreign currency payments.
  • Ensure compliance with customs, GST, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and customs agents.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (B.Com / MBA preferred).
  • 2–4 years of import accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of international trade, customs, and taxation.
  • Proficiency in Tally Prime & MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
