Import & Customs Clearance Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Import & Customs Clearance Manager with expertise in IGCR and BIS certification, particularly for electronic products like small appliances and components. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end customs clearance process and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle import customs clearance, ensuring compliance with IGCR and BIS certification requirements.
• Prepare and manage all import/export documentation (commercial documents, LC shipments, etc.).
• Ensure products meet BIS standards for safety and quality.
• Negotiate with freight forwarders and CHA to ensure timely delivery.
• Lead a team and coordinate with internal departments (Procurement, Logistics) for smooth operations.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in import customs clearance, with hands-on experience in handling SKD/CKD materials and related documentation.
• In-depth knowledge of IGCR, SIMS, PIMS, BIS, and WPC certifications.
• Proven experience in e-commerce or electronics industry.
• Leadership experience and strong communication skills.
• Preference for candidates with experience in customs clearing agencies (CHA).
• Local candidates from New Mumbai will be given priority.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹420,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
