Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
A. Import Management
- Prepare & process import purchase orders, LC applications, and shipping instructions.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, and CHA for timely dispatch and clearance.
- Ensure completeness of import documentation (Invoice, Packing List, AWB/BL, COO, etc.).
- Monitor shipment tracking, ETD/ETA updates, and customs clearance.
- Coordinate for duty payment, bond/Bill of Entry submission, and warehouse delivery.
- Maintain Import Tracker with landed cost and inward tracking.
B. Export Management
- Manage export orders, documentation, and buyer compliance.
- Handle pre/post-shipment documents (Invoice, Shipping Bill, ARE-1, LUT, etc.).
- Liaise with logistics partners for smooth export dispatch.
- Ensure EDPMS compliance and export realization tracking.
- Prepare MIS reports and support in incentive claims (RoDTEP, MEIS).
C. Merchant Trade Transactions
- Handle merchant trade as per RBI guidelines.
- Manage LC back-to-back arrangements and third-party transactions.
- Ensure documentation and timelines match regulatory norms.
- Maintain records and audit trail.
D. EXIM Compliance & RBI Reporting
- Manage EXIM compliance for capital/raw material goods.
- RBI reporting (BEF, IDPMS/EDPMS, advance remittances).
- Track foreign payments, FIRCs/BRCs, and ensure closure of entries.
- Maintain SOPs and documentation as per FEMA, DGFT, and GST norms.
E. Logistics & Shipment Monitoring
- Monitor shipments from PO to plant/customer delivery.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams for timely movement.
- Track insurance, damage, and demurrage cases if any.
F. Import/Export Payments & Bank Coordination
- Handle payments (advance, LC, DP/DA, open account).
- Coordinate with finance and AD bank for forex deals and remittances.
- Reconcile payments with documentation and maintain trackers.
G. Cost Optimization & Lean Practices
- Suggest and implement cost reduction in logistics and warehousing.
- Support procurement and planning teams in JIT inventory.
- Drive process improvement in EXIM operations.
Key Skills Required:
- In-depth knowledge of EXIM, FEMA, Customs regulations.
- Familiarity with IDPMS/EDPMS, ICEGATE, DGFT, and ERP systems.
- Strong skills in coordination, documentation, and MS Excel.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate in Commerce / International Business (MBA/PGDM preferred).
- 3–5 years in import/export roles within manufacturing or trading firms.
- Hands-on experience in merchant trade, LC handling, and RBI reporting.

- Timely shipment clearance and delivery.
- 100% regulatory and documentation compliance.
- Accurate payment tracking and reporting.
- Cost savings through optimized logistics and duty handling.
- Closure of IDPMS/EDPMS entries within RBI timelines.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
