We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Import & Export Documentation Officer to manage end-to-end documentation and compliance for international shipments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in customs procedures, PSW operations, and logistics coordination within the textile or gloves industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and manage complete import & export documentation (Invoices, Packing Lists, BL/AWB, Certificates, etc.)
- Handle all matters related to Pakistan Customs, including clearance processes, duty/tax calculations, and compliance requirements
- Operate and manage Pakistan Single Window (PSW) system for import/export filings
- Coordinate with clearing agents, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters
- Ensure timely processing of shipments and resolve any documentation or clearance issues
- Manage local logistics operations, including transportation and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies
- Liaise with internal departments (Production, Sales, Finance) for smooth execution of shipments
- Stay updated with customs regulations, SROs, and trade policies
- Handle post-shipment documentation and banking requirements (if applicable)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or relevant field
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in import/export documentation (preferably in gloves or textile industry)
- Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures and documentation
- Practical experience with PSW system
- Good understanding of Incoterms and international shipping practices
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience dealing with export-oriented units
- Familiarity with banking/export documentation (LC, TT, etc.)
- Strong communication skills for dealing with external stakeholders
Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
