Key Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day import and export documentation (shipping bills, invoices, packing lists, BOE, LC, etc.).
Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, transporters, and customs officials for smooth shipment handling.
Monitor import/export clearance, ensuring compliance with customs and DGFT regulations.
Maintain accurate records of imports, exports, and related expenses.
Prepare MIS reports and maintain data in Excel for shipment tracking and cost analysis.
Ensure timely filing of statutory documents (BRC, LUT, Advance Authorisation, etc.).
Support the logistics team in vendor management and shipment cost optimization.
Track shipment schedules and proactively address delays or discrepancies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business Administration/International Trade or equivalent.
2–5 years of relevant experience in import/export operations.
Strong knowledge of customs documentation, EXIM policies, and international trade regulations.
Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis, Reporting).
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Tally/other).
Knowledge of HS codes, Incoterms, and freight negotiations.
Exposure to export incentives schemes (MEIS/RODTEP).
