Description and Requirements


The Import Export Manager – manage all customs related activities in Saudi Arabia.

You will create and provide customs strategy and processes for Saudi Arabia.

You will support Internal and external stakeholder with customs related guidance and act proactive to support the customs processes in Saudi. You will report to our EMEA Senior Import Export Manager.


Your Key Responsibilities:

  • A working knowledge of and ability to apply laws and regulations related to global trade compliance is required with focus in Saudi Arabia and MEA region
  • Manage the customs regulations in Saudi Arabia – primarily for the Lenovo Saudi Plant and Saudi Onshore (ZATCA, FASAH, SABER, CITC)
  • Manage Customs audits for the Lenovo shipments (Inbound / Outbound) in Saudi Arabia and MEA region
  • Support Tax audits in Saudi Arabia and MEA region
  • Manage the Import Export team in Saudi and support the MEAT Import Export team
  • Provide Guidelines or import / export compliance activities such as commodity jurisdictions, product classifications,
  • Provide Product (HTS) classification for Saudi Arabia and MEA region in SAP system
  • Set up archiving process and record keeping of customs related documents
  • Manage the Import tracker for Saudi Arabia
  • Escalation contact with broker, carrier and internal Lenovo departments


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 5 – 10 year experience in Customs in Saudi Arabia
  • Local nationality
  • preferred MBA in customs, logistic or similar education
  • Local native speaker, English fluent
  • Willing to work in international teams
  • Able to support under pressure
