Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Import Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our international import operations. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in global trade regulations, customs compliance and supply chain coordination. This role is pivotal to ensuring the efficient, timely and compliant movement of goods across borders.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and manage end-to-end import processes, including documentation, customs clearance and regulatory compliance.

· Liaise with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and government agencies.

· Monitor and optimize import costs, tariffs and duty structures.

· Ensure strict adherence to international trade laws, company policies and industry standards.

· Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, finance and warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations.

· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.

· Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in import/export operations.

· In-depth knowledge of INCOTERMS, HS codes, customs procedures and trade compliance.

· Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.

· Proficiency in ERP systems and import documentation platforms.

· Certification in international trade or customs compliance is a plus.
