We are seeking an experienced
In-Charge Design Mechanical
to lead mechanical design and proposal engineering activities for
Oil & Gas EPC projects
. The ideal candidate will play a key role in
tendering, cost estimation, design development, and technical bid preparation
, ensuring compliance with international codes and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
-
Lead
mechanical design and engineering inputs
during proposal and tender stages for EPC projects
-
Review
ITB, scope of work, and technical specifications
to prepare compliant technical proposals
-
Develop and review
mechanical layouts, P&IDs, datasheets, equipment sizing, and MTOs
-
Coordinate with
process, electrical, instrumentation, civil, procurement, and planning teams
-
Prepare
technical clarifications, deviations, and risk assessments
during bidding
-
Support
cost estimation
by providing BOQs, equipment specifications, and design assumptions
-
Ensure designs comply with
ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, NFPA, and international Oil & Gas standards
-
Interface with
clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors
during proposal development

Review vendor quotations and provide
technical evaluations
-
Lead and mentor junior mechanical engineers in proposal activities
-
Ensure proposal deliverables meet
quality, schedule, and commercial objectives
Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering
-
10+ years of experience
in Oil & Gas
EPC projects
, with strong exposure to proposal engineering

Proven expertise in
static & rotating equipment
, piping design, and mechanical systems
-
Strong knowledge of
international codes and standards

Hands-on experience with
proposal documentation, tendering, and pre-bid engineering
-
Proficiency in
AutoCAD, MS Office
, and relevant engineering tools
