Duties

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences
• Provide medication reminders and ensure proper administration under supervision or as authorized
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing to maintain a safe and hygienic living space
• Offer companionship by engaging clients in conversations, recreational activities, and emotional support
• Monitor clients’ health status, report any changes or concerns promptly to family members or healthcare professionals
• Support clients during outings or appointments, ensuring safety and comfort at all times

Experience

• Prior experience in in-home caregiving or personal support roles preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
• Strong understanding of elderly care, Geriatrics, or post-acute care environments is highly desirable
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or chronic health conditions is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently; familiarity with emergency procedures is a plus
• Knowledge of basic medical-surgical procedures and medication management is beneficial
• Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, patient-centered care
