Overview
The UAE In-store success team at Tabby manages the performance of Tabby's k in-store partners, ensuring existing partners are performing up to their maximum potential as well as adding new partners to the network. This role is a mix of Operations and Sales. You will be responsible for maintaining a certain level of Tabby presence within a specific city and onboarding new merchants from your city to the Tabby network. This role requires flexibility, accountability for your managed portfolio and tasks, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Develop a thorough understanding of Tabby products and services
- Guide partners on Tabby products and services/features
- Manage in-store verticals' health, metrics and performance end-to-end
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of deals and meet quarterly sales targets
- Monitor store performance and provide insights and initiatives for growth
- Be the voice of merchants within Tabby
- Drive day-to-day engagement with merchants and manage their regular business reviews and meetings
- Do regular sanity checks on the store and deliver the needed products/training
- Enhance the onboarding process for new stores/key accounts
- Generally able to use different business tools (Google Sheets, Slack, Pipedrive, etc.)
Qualifications
- A good communicator (verbal and written) with the ability to present and influence key stakeholders at all levels, including executive and C-level
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in in-person sales and offline retail partner acquisition, preferably with SME exposure
- Prior knowledge and/or exposure to financial/payment products
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working across diverse teams
- Ability to customize solutions for partners based on their circumstances
- Structured thinking, organized planning, and ability to execute and adjust plans
- Flexible approach and the ability to shift priorities as needed
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, business, operations, etc.)
- Leadership, coaching, and advisory capabilities for partner teams
- Valid UAE driving license and car; willing to commute to Dubai if needed
- Preference for candidates based in Abu Dhabi with relevant local experience
