Incoming Quality Control Lead (IQC)

Job Status: Full Time Onsite

Location: Korangi Creek, Karachi

Must have Experience of Mobile Manufacturing Industry.

Lead and supervise the Incoming Quality Control (IQC) team responsible for inspection of raw materials and components used in mobile phone assembly.

Ensure all incoming materials such as PCBs, displays, batteries, cameras, connectors, and accessories meet required quality specifications.

Develop and implement incoming inspection procedures, sampling plans, and quality standards.

Review supplier documentation including Certificates of Analysis (COA), inspection reports, and quality certifications.

Conduct visual, functional, and dimensional inspections of incoming materials and components.

Ensure proper segregation and identification of non-conforming materials and coordinate with procurement for resolution.

Maintain detailed records of incoming inspection reports, defect logs, and supplier quality performance.

Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure timely inspection and release of materials.

Lead investigations and perform root cause analysis for supplier-related quality issues.

Initiate and monitor Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) when quality issues arise.

Monitor supplier quality trends and provide feedback to procurement for supplier performance evaluation.

Ensure compliance with company quality standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

Train and guide IQC inspectors on inspection methods, defect identification, and quality procedures.

Ensure proper handling and storage of materials during inspection to prevent damage or contamination.

Prepare and present incoming quality reports and supplier quality performance summaries to management.

Support internal audits, quality audits, and compliance inspections.

Continuously improve inspection processes to reduce material defects and prevent production disruptions.

Ensure inspection tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
