industrial designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Industrial Designer to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. You will play a critical role in designing innovative products and systems that meet the needs of our clients and contribute to sustainable construction practices. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in industrial design, is skilled in 3D modeling, and has an eye for aesthetics and functionality. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and clients to conceptualize innovative product designs for construction equipment and tools.
• Create detailed prototypes and 3D models using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Rhino.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and enhance design accuracy and performance.
• Produce technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Review and analyze competitor products and market trends to inform design improvements and product positioning.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to translate product requirements into actionable design solutions.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate their feedback into final designs.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial design, preferably within the construction or related industries.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino) and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes used in construction.
• Excellent visualization skills and the ability to create compelling presentations of design concepts.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
