Industrial Electrical Engineer – Calcium Carbonate Production Lines

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Engineer to join our calcium carbonate grinding and coating plant. The candidate will be responsible for the electrical systems, control systems, and automation of multiple production lines, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation under shift-based work schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for grinding and coating production lines.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and control system faults to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain and monitor motors, drives (VFD/Inverters), MCC panels, control panels, and power distribution systems.
  • Work with PLC-based control systems, sensors, and industrial instrumentation used in production lines.
  • Support commissioning, startup, and testing of new machines and production lines.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to maintenance plans.
  • Ensure proper operation of dust collectors, classifiers, mills, conveyors, feeders, and packing systems from an electrical and control perspective.
  • Read, understand, and update electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and control schematics.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and electrical standards inside the plant.
  • Coordinate with mechanical and production teams to improve line performance and reliability.
  • Work in shift rotation and respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance when required.
  • Keep maintenance records, fault reports, and improvement recommendations.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in industrial plants, preferably in grinding, minerals, cement, or chemical processing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, VFDs, MCC panels, and power distribution.
  • Experience with PLC-based control systems and industrial automation (brand-agnostic: Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Delta, or similar).
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control problems under production pressure.
  • Experience in multi-line production environments is a strong advantage.
  • Willing to work in shifts.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in commissioning and startup of industrial machines.
  • Basic knowledge of instrumentation (sensors, transmitters, level/pressure switches, etc.).
  • Experience in heavy industry, powder processing, or material handling systems.
