Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Industrial Engineer to evaluate and improve the operational efficiency of our 19L water bottling plant. The engineer will be responsible for mapping the current plant layout, studying production processes, and recommending design and process improvements to help the plant achieve its maximum production capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a detailed study of current plant operations, workflow, and layout.
• Create a comprehensive plant layout drawing (AutoCAD or similar).
• Identify bottlenecks and sources of production delay or wastage.
• Develop optimized layout and process flow proposals to improve throughput and efficiency.
• Recommend changes in equipment placement, line balancing, and material flow.
• Suggest improvements for safety, ergonomics, and energy utilization.
• Coordinate with the production and maintenance teams to ensure feasibility of proposed changes.
• Prepare a technical report outlining findings, proposed improvements, and expected productivity gains.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with plant layout design, production planning, or process optimization.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar layout software.
• Strong analytical skills in time-motion studies, line balancing, and workflow efficiency.
• Ability to translate data into clear, actionable improvement plans.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in bottling, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing plants.
• Prior exposure to RO or mineral water production environments.
• Understanding of ISO, GMP, or food-grade safety standards.

Employment Type:

Contract / Project-Based (2–4 weeks, extendable)

Compensation:

Negotiable – based on experience and project scope
