Industrial Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: $30 - 36/hour (+2/hour shift premium)

Hours: 7PM - 7AM: 3 on, 2 off, every other weekend.

Location: Dayton, Texas 77535

Overview

We’re hiring a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume manufacturing operation. This is a night shift role in a fast-paced environment where uptime is critical. The ideal candidate is strong electrically, capable of troubleshooting down to the PLC level, and comfortable handling both reactive and preventive maintenance.

What You’ll Do

Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems on production equipment
Troubleshoot control systems and PLC-driven machinery (no programming required)
Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability
Support repairs on motors, drives, sensors, and related components
Fabricate or modify parts using shop equipment as needed
Document work performed and communicate issues across shifts
Maintain a safe and organized work environment

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (required)
Working knowledge of PLCs (no programming access), motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
Mechanically capable (bearings, alignment, general repairs)
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Comfortable working independently on night shift

Additional Details

Forklift experience preferred
Basic computer skills required for documentation and tracking
Strong problem-solving mindset — able to diagnose issues, not just replace parts
