Infant and Toddler Lead/Assistant Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Lead and Assistant Teachers to inspire and guide young learners in a dynamic educational environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere. Your expertise will support the development of foundational skills across early childhood education, special education, and developmental milestones. Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student needs, including those with disabilities or developmental delays
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement, behavior management strategies, and tailored interventions
  • Utilize learning technology and educational tools to enhance student engagement and facilitate interactive learning experiences
  • Conduct assessments to monitor progress, including standardized testing and progress reports, adjusting instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with specialists such as speech therapists, behavioral therapists, and early intervention providers to support student development
  • Maintain detailed records of IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals, progress notes, and behavioral data to ensure compliance and support planning
  • Foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes child welfare, social-emotional growth, literacy education, and physical activity

Requirements

  • Proven classroom management skills with experience working with children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and early learners
  • Strong background in early childhood education or special education; experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of curriculum development principles across subjects such as math, literacy education, and physical education.
  • Experience in speech therapy techniques, behavioral health strategies, and behavioral therapy approaches for young children
  • Familiarity with learning technology tools used in early childhood settings for lesson planning and assessment purposes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists to foster collaborative relationships
  • Demonstrated understanding of childhood development milestones and best practices in childcare or daycare environments
  • Certification or training in early intervention services or special education is preferred but not required
  • Passion for working with children and dedication to supporting their growth through innovative teaching methods
