Preschool/Pre-K Co-Lead Teacher

Job Summary
Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool/Pre-K Co-Lead Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will partner with a fellow educator to create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment for young learners. Your passion for early childhood development and dedication to fostering a love of learning will inspire children to explore, discover, and grow. You will be responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, managing classroom activities, and supporting children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Duties

  • Collaborate with co-lead teachers to develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles where applicable.
  • Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management strategies.
  • Plan and execute engaging lessons tailored to the developmental needs of preschool and pre-kindergarten children, including activities focused on childhood development milestones.
  • Support children with special education needs and early intervention strategies to promote inclusive learning experiences.
  • Manage classroom routines, behavior management techniques, and daily schedules to ensure smooth transitions and optimal learning opportunities.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or classroom behavior.
  • Maintain accurate records of student assessments, standardized testing results, lesson plans, and progress reports in compliance with educational standards.

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience working with preschool or pre-kindergarten children in daycare or private school settings is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and early childhood education best practices.
  • Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
  • Knowledge of classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and support child welfare.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and engaging effectively with families.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
