Infant Teacher

We are an established School focusing on the education and growth of children from 6 weeks old to 6th grade. One of the most important parts of a great school is great staff and we would love for you to join our team!

Duties
- Engage infants in developmentally appropriate activities
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Follow DSS regulations ensuring a safe environment for the children
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, cooperation, and teamwork
- Manage classroom behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress and development
- Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, progress, and milestones

- willingness to clean and keep the classroom environment in order.

Experience
- Experience working with infant students in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices and a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for young children
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.50 - $16.50 per hour
