Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care and supervision to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being throughout the day
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and growth
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about each infant’s progress, needs, and milestones
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with team members to support individual developmental goals and behavior management strategies
• Document daily observations of infants’ progress and any concerns that may arise

Requirements and Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a licensed child care center is REQUIRED
• MUST be current in Oregon's Central Background Registry.
• Food Handler's Card, CPR/First Aid for Infants and Adults
• Completion of Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect course.
• Completion of an Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety course
• Completion of Foundations of Learning
• Completion of Safe Sleep for Infants course
