Influencer & Brand Partnerships Manager

The Talent & Brand Partnerships Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic management and growth of Ego & East’s talents, ensuring that each talent’s brand identity, positioning, and collaborations are aligned with their long-term goals. As well as procuring new business to the division through strategy and pitching.

This role involves managing a roster of up to 15 talents including some high-profile/celebrity talents,, checking their inboxes on a daily basis and pursuing potential collaborations, maintaining daily communication with the talents through dedicated WhatsApp groups. Scheduling weekly or bi-monthly calls (where relevant) to maintain the relationship and keep on track of all their pending deliverables as well as working on their overall strategy for business and social media growth.

The role will also include strategy for brand partnerships, be it through concept ideation or responding to RFP’s, creating competitive pitches and presenting them with the goal of winning new clients.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of the influencer and social media landscape, with an existing strong network of peers in the industry whilst always making an effort to grow and add to their network. It is essential to have a natural flair for discussing and negotiating brand deals on behalf of the talents, whilst upholding the brand ethos and professional flair of Ego & East. Creativity is important to possess for this role, as it will be required for working on high-level brand partnerships.

This candidate will also be expected to lead a small team in aid of executing work in a professional and timely manner.


JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Develop and implement strategies for talents, manage their projects from calendar scheduling to deliverables as well as continually consult them on their image, quality of content and growth.


  • Identify, recruit, and manage high-profile potential talents to sign to the agency, as well as potential brand partnerships for all talents.


  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with brands, agencies, and key industry stakeholders.


  • Collaborate with the marketing & PR team (where relevant) to create competitive pitches and in-house initiatives that showcase our capabilities in the most effective way possible, leveraging our skills and talents for new business opportunities.


  • Negotiate contracts and manage talent budgets, ensuring we are maximizing our investments and achieving ROI.


  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure our talent strategy is always innovative and effective.


  • Manage a small junior team of talent managers, providing guidance , mentorship , and support .


  • Compile/oversee monthly status reports that include each talent's progress comparing each month’s performances.


  • Collaborate cross functionally with all involved teams to ensure they are aligned with upcoming activities.


KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE


  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Talent Management and Partnerships
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships with high-profile clients
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
