Infrastructure System Engineer

Job Purpose:

To manage and support the enterprise infrastructure including storage systems, backup operations, Windows servers, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms, ensuring optimal performance, security, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Virtualization Platforms (such as VMware, VxRail, or Nutanix), including Manage, configure, and monitor Storage Environments (SAN, NAS, Object Storage).
• Implement and maintain Backup and Replication Policies to ensure data protection and disaster recovery readiness (Networker and Avamar)
• Administer and maintain Active Directory services including domain controllers, DNS, GPOs, and user management.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments .
• provisioning, clustering, and performance optimization.
• Execute and maintain Backup Operations and verify backup success across systems.
• Conduct regular health checks and proactive monitoring of infrastructure components.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving system outages and performance issues.
• Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with SAN/NAS storage systems and enterprise backup solutions.
• Good understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity planning
