Linah Farms, established in 1997 as part of a desert reclamation initiative in Egypt's Bahariya Oasis, is a family-owned agricultural leader specializing in high-quality Medjool dates. With over 80,000 productive palms and a target of 120,000 in the near future, the farm is a trusted name in global exports. Operating under a fully integrated model, Linah Farms manages every step of the agricultural value chain, from cultivation to packaging and export. In addition to its renowned Medjool dates, the farm also produces premium Barhi dates, mangoes, and other premium crops.
- Location : Maadi Distribution Center
1. Inspect incoming products:- Receive and visually/organoleptically inspect incoming shipments from factories or suppliers.
- Check packaging integrity, production date, batch number, and temperature (if applicable).
- Prepare inspection reports and record results in quality logs.
- Reject or hold any non-conforming shipment and notify Central QA for action.
2. Inspect outgoing products before dispatch:- Ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements before release.
- Verify transportation, packaging, cleanliness, and storage conditions prior to loading.
- Approve or reject dispatch operations based on inspection results.
3. Follow up on quality and food safety requirements:- Ensure implementation of hygiene policies and GMP within warehouses and loading areas.
- Monitor pest control, temperature, and humidity conditions in storage areas.
- Report any non-conformities or potential product risks.
4. Coordination and Documentation:- Maintain continuous communication with Central QA regarding inspection results and recommendations.
- Submit daily/weekly reports on product status (received/dispatched / rejected).
- Participate in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
5. Auditing and Improvement:- Support internal and external audit activities at the distribution center.
- Suggest improvement opportunities to maintain product quality and safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Science (Quality, Food Industry, Chemistry, Microbiology).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality assurance or food inspection in distribution centers.
- Knowledge of quality and food safety systems (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRCGS, HACCP).
- Strong observation, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work on-site and coordinate with different departments
