Inspector / Inspection Engineer (Heavy Earthmoving Machinery)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Inspector – Heavy Equipment to join our workshop team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and ensuring the quality and performance of heavy machinery, with a strong focus on crawler equipment such as excavators and bulldozers. The role requires deep technical expertise, hands-on experience, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a detailed inspection of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and other machinery

• Perform pre-delivery, routine, and post-repair inspections

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults and identify root causes

• Ensure all equipment meets OEM specifications and safety standards

• Prepare accurate inspection reports, condition assessments, and documentation

• Coordinate with workshop technicians for repair and corrective actions

• Monitor the quality of repairs and verify completion before equipment release

• Perform functional testing and performance evaluation of machinery

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations

• Support continuous improvement in inspection processes and quality control

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Relevant technical certifications in heavy equipment inspection or maintenance are an advantage

• OEM training or certifications (e.g., Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo) preferred

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 06 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment inspection or maintenance

• Proven experience working in a heavy equipment workshop environment

• Prior experience in UAE or GCC region preferred

• Strong reporting Skills.
