QC Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified QC Engineer with a mechanical background and at least 5 years of experience in the oil & gas and modular building industry. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical works and fabricated modules meet project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
• Perform inspections on mechanical works including fabrication, welding, assembly, and installation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and site teams to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Review material certificates, test reports, and inspection records.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections for modular structures and mechanical components.
• Monitor welding activities, including WPS/PQR qualifications and welder certifications.
• Identify non-conformities (NCRs) and ensure proper corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Liaise with third-party inspectors and client representatives during inspections and audits.
• Maintain proper documentation and prepare quality reports as required.
• Support internal and external audits related to quality systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of QC experience in oil & gas and modular building or fabrication industry.
• Strong knowledge of international standards such as ASME, API, ISO, and ASTM.
• Experience in welding inspection and NDT coordination (CSWIP or equivalent certification is an advantage).
• Familiarity with modular construction, skid-mounted systems, or prefabricated units.
• Good understanding of quality documentation and reporting.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in quality control or inspection (e.g., CSWIP, ISO 9001 Internal Auditor).
• Experience working with EPC contractors or fabrication yards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Should be able to join immediately ( Cancelled Visa, Visit Visa,)
