Instructional Designer

This is a salaried position with pay ranging from $68,600 to $74,900 annually, based on experience.

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our team and shape engaging learning experiences for adult learners. In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver innovative training solutions—ranging from eLearning modules and videos to interactive scenarios—that make complex concepts clear, practical, and impactful. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in adult learning principles, instructional design models, and proficiency with eLearning technologies, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality content on time.

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a hybrid schedule of three days in office and two days working remotely.

Instructional Designer Responsibilities:

• Partner with subject matter experts to analyze training needs and define learning objectives.
• Design and develop instructional materials, including eLearning modules, videos, checklists, and interactive scenarios.
• Create storyboards, scripts, and visual designs to bring content to life.
• Leverage Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deliver, track, and evaluate training programs.
• Conduct quality assurance and incorporate learner feedback to ensure accuracy, consistency, and engagement.
• Measure training effectiveness using metrics and feedback,and recommend improvements.
• Stay current with trends in instructional design, eLearning tools, and adult learning strategies.
• Support compliance by following HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

Instructional Designer Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
• Background in healthcare or senior living education is a plus.
• Experience designing eLearning, editing audio/video, and creating digital learning content.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models.
• Proven knowledge of instructional design theories, methodologies, and best practices.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Articulate Storyline and Rise 360, and multimedia tools (e.g., CyberLink Power Director, Audacity, Vyond, Synthesia). Experience with SCORM-compliant eLearning development, preferred.

• Strong ability to translate complex content into clear visuals, animations, and interactive tools.
• Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple projects, and deliver solutions on time.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on customer service and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
