Instructional Designer Intern - Spring 2026

Work Location: 9820 Leavenworth Rd, Kansas City, KS 66109 Job Overview:

The Instructional Designer Intern will support the Training team in creating engaging and effective training materials across various platforms. This role offers hands-on experience in instructional design, including assisting with content development, video production, and editing. The intern will collaborate on projects aimed at enhancing learning experiences and will gain exposure to e-learning tools and interactive formats.

Highlights of your role:

Support the current training team with the following:

Assisting in the documentation, design, and formatting of training content.
Supporting the creation of storyboards and visual assets for instructional materials.
Participating in video shoots and editing footage to produce polished learning content.
Researching and benchmarking current trends and technologies in instructional design.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of training programs and tools.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can):

Must be enrolled in related field pursing a bachelor's degree or a two-year degree.
Demonstrate a strong interest in instructional design, learning technologies, or multimedia development.
Use tools like PowerPoint, Canva, or similar for visual content creation.
Assist with video production, including filming and basic editing.
Collaborate well in a team environment.
