Instructor - Plumbing

The Hunar Foundation (THF) invites applications for the position of Instructor - Plumbing at its Nokkundi (RDMC) Campus. The incumbent will be responsible for:

· Deliver theoretical and practical plumbing training as per the approved curriculum.

· Demonstrate installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems.

· Train students on reading drawings, measurements, fittings, and use of tools and equipment.

· Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and hygiene standards in workshops and classrooms.

· Prepare lesson plans, practical schedules, assessments, and training materials.

· Conduct student assessments, practical tests, and maintain academic records.

· Monitor student attendance, discipline, and performance, and provide mentoring as required.

· Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and inventory; report repair or replacement needs.

· Support students in employability skills, workplace ethics, and industry readiness.

· Coordinate with the Academic and Placement teams for student progress and industry linkage.

· Participate in faculty meetings, trainings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Any other task assigned by the line manager.

Requirements:

Applicants are required to possess 2–3 years of relevant experience practical experience in plumbing works (industrial/residential/commercial) with atleast DAE / Diploma in Plumbing, Civil, or relevant technical field. Prior teaching or training experience in a vocational institute is preferred.
