Instrument Construction Supervisor – Oil & Gas

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise instrumentation construction and commissioning activities at site
• Ensure execution aligns with project specifications and safety standards
• Support Management of Change (MOC) activities across project phases
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams
• Oversee installation, testing, loop checking, and system handover
• Act as site representative for instrumentation scope under client operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in supervisory role
• Strong background in construction + commissioning projects
• Ability to work independently on-site execution activities

Strong hands-on experience in:

• General Instrumentation systems
• PLC systems (Rockwell Automation, Modicon)
• DCS systems (ABB, Honeywell)
• Functional Safety Systems (HIMA, Yokogawa, ICS Triplex, Honeywell)
• Turbo-machinery Control Systems (GE, CCC)
• Multi-vendor system integration (preferred)

• Familiarity with client standards such as QatarEnergy and Shell
• Strong coordination and site leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple contractors and vendors
