Qualification: B. E. Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering

Experience: 4-5 Years

Field of Experience: EPC/Petrochemicals

Job Description:

  • Develop and review instrumentation design documents (e.g., Instrument Index, I/O List, Data Sheets, Loop Diagrams, Hook-up Drawings, Wiring Diagrams).
  • Prepare instrument specifications and datasheets for field instruments (flow, pressure, temperature, level, analysers, etc.).
  • Select appropriate instrumentation based on process requirements and environmental conditions.
  • Design control and shutdown systems, including ESD (Emergency Shutdown), F&G (Fire & Gas), and PLC/DCS interfaces.
  • Participate in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) and detailed engineering phases.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, ISA, API), project specifications, and client requirements.
  • Prepare and review technical bid evaluations and assist procurement in vendor selection.
  • Coordinate with vendors for technical clarification, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), and document review.
  • Work closely with process, electrical, mechanical, piping, and civil teams to ensure instrumentation requirements are fully integrated.
  • Support construction teams with field engineering, installation methods, and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in commissioning, loop checking, and prestart-up activities.
  • Prepare engineering deliverables as per project schedule and quality standards.
  • Ensure all instrumentation documentation is up-to-date and properly archived.
  • Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and risk assessments when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 per month

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
