Insulation Jacketing Product Manager

Textiles Coated International is a manufacturer and global supplier of specialty fluoropolymer materials that are compatible with all chemicals and temperatures. TCI has been continuously manufacturing high-quality materials designed to perform in the most challenging thermal and chemical environments.

The Insulation Jacketing Project Manager is responsible for the strategic and tactical management of our insulation jacketing product line. This role owns the product lifecycle from market analysis and product development through launch, pricing, and ongoing optimization. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of plastics, industrial materials, and insulation systems, along with the ability to translate customer needs into profitable product solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management

• Own the full lifecycle of insulation jacketing products, from concept through end-of-life
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with company growth objectives
• Identify opportunities for product line expansion, differentiation, and cost optimization

Market & Customer Insight

• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer surveys
• Monitor industry trends, regulations, and standards
• Partner with sales to understand customer applications and pain points

Product Development & Launch

• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, operations, and quality teams to define product requirements
• Lead new product development initiatives, including business cases and launch plans
• Ensure products meet performance, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements

Commercial Execution

• Develop pricing strategies, value propositions, and margin targets
• Work with marketing to create datasheets, specifications, and promotional content

Performance & Optimization

• Track product performance using KPIs such as revenue, margin, and market share
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on customer feedback and performance data

Requirements:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Business, or related field; or related experience
• 3-5+ years of experience in plastics, industrial materials, or building products
• Knowledge of insulation systems and jacketing materials
• Strong cross-functional leadership and project management skills

Preferred

• Familiarity with industrial insulation markets (HVAC, oil & gas, power generation, chemical processing)
• Experience with regulatory and performance testing standards
• Fluency in Spanish
