Insurance Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Support continuous lead generation activities through walk-ins, data mining, referrals, outside calls, and other methods.
  • Assist in full fact-finding processes and recommend customized solutions to secure and enrich bank customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints at the assigned branch; support clients with document completion and medical exams; and coordinate proper submission to operations, working closely with the Account Manager (AM).
  • Track progress with operations and underwriters to ensure all requirements are met until policies are issued.
  • Compile and deliver basic reports on sales activities, referrals, closing ratios, ASE, and other qualitative metrics on time.
  • Collaborate with bank branch employees and managers regularly to share knowledge about insurance products, address selling concerns, and foster reciprocal referrals to support both insurance and banking products.


Pre-requisites (Education, Professional Experience)


  • 1-3 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in the Sales field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
