Senior Account Manager

Cairo, Egypt

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop, implement, and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for Microsoft products and services.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales tactics and campaigns tailored for the Saudi market.

Account Management

Manage a portfolio of key enterprise and mid-market accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, trusted relationships at multiple stakeholder levels.

Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions with clients to understand and align with their IT and business objectives.

Business Development

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within both existing accounts and prospective clients.

Lead pre-sales activities, including needs assessment, solution presentations, proposals, and negotiations.

Proactively cross-sell and upsell Microsoft solutions, leveraging insights into emerging technologies and digital transformation trends.

Solution Expertise

Maintain up-to-date expertise in the full suite of Microsoft products and services—particularly Microsoft 365, Azure, 365, Power Platform, and security solutions.

Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to design and deliver tailored solutions that address customer challenges.

Collaboration And Teamwork

Work closely with internal teams including technical experts, customer success managers, and marketing to deliver exceptional client experiences.

Coordinate with Microsoft and partner networks to amplify joint value propositions and expand market presence.

Pipeline Management And Reporting

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecast data using CRM software (e.g., Dynamics 365 Sales).

Prepare and present regular sales reports, progress updates, and recommendations to senior management.

Compliance And Ethics

Ensure all sales activities are conducted in line with company policies and Saudi regulatory requirements, including data protection, privacy, and anti-bribery standards.

Promote and uphold ethical business practices in all client and partner interactions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of direct sales/account management experience in the Saudi Arabian IT sector, preferably with a focus on Microsoft solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets within enterprise and mid-market segments.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft’s product and services portfolio—including cloud, security, productivity, and business applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both English and Arabic.
  • In-depth knowledge of Saudi business culture, regulatory environment, and technology adoption trends.
  • Ability to travel within Saudi Arabia as required.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Certified, or similar) are a plus.
