Right at Home of Wayne County is seeking a motivated and compassionate sales professional to join our growing team. This full-time role supports multiple territories across Wayne County and plays a critical role in helping families navigate the process of securing quality in-home care. The Intake Coordinator is responsible for managing and converting inbound inquiries, nurturing prospective clients through the intake process, and supporting marketing and case management activities to drive company growth. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations and requires occasional evening and weekend availability.
Key Responsibilities- Respond promptly and professionally to new inquiries by phone, email, and web.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand care needs and educate prospects on services.
- Conduct new client assessments and living room visits for new referrals or prospects.
- Maintain a consistent lead nurturing schedule (calls, emails, texts) over 18+ months.
- Manage the Dementia GUIDE referral and approval process.
- Track and manage leads using CRM systems; update activity logs and conversion status.
- Collaborate with sales, scheduling, and care coordination teams to ensure seamless handoffs of new clients.
- Support development and execution of marketing plans and local Drip campaigns.
- Create and manage email campaigns (e.g., Mailchimp) to engage prospects and referral sources.
- Assist in creating flyers, newsletters, leave-behinds, and branded promotional materials.
- Coordinate social media content and manage online presence in collaboration with leadership.
- Represent the agency at community events, health fairs, and networking functions (as needed).
- Monitor and report on lead sources, inquiry-to-intake conversion rates, and campaign ROI.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance marketing and sales effectiveness.
- Maintain brand consistency across all communications and materials.
- Assist with case management tasks and collaborate with care team as needed.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree required
- 5+ years of experience in intake coordination, inside sales, or customer service roles.
- Experience in home care, home health, or healthcare industry strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of professionalism, empathy, and ability to handle sensitive conversations.
- Experience with CRM systems, email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Zoho, etc.), and social media platforms.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and caregiving industry best practices preferred.
- Graphic design or content creation experience (e.g., Canva) a plus.
Compensation & Benefits- Salary Range: $38,000 – $42,000 annually, based on experience.

Work Schedule & Environment
This is a full-time, office-based position that covers multiple territories within Wayne County, Michigan. Standard working hours apply, but some evening and weekend availability is required to meet clients and support business needs.
