Job Mission
As the ICL for Roche Egypt, you serve as a strategic leader within the Customer Engagement & Health Solutions function. You are accountable for translating Disease Area (DA) strategies into operational excellence and measurable impact, ensuring seamless execution through optimal resource deployment and high-performing customer-facing teams. In your architect role, you design and enable the right mix of skills, mindsets, and roles needed to deliver meaningful value to customers and patients. By partnering closely with ISLs, Access Leads, and cross-functional stakeholders, you transform strategic intent into action — aligning insights, capabilities, and engagement priorities across ecosystems. Through your visionary leadership, you mobilize, empower, and coach customer-facing PPoCs to generate deep customer insights, foster collaboration, and drive execution that elevates both the Customer (Cx) and Patient (Pt) experience, reinforcing Roche’s purpose of delivering better outcomes for more patients, faster.
Your Impact
Resource Deployment & Capability Matching
Act as the strategic architect for resource deployment, ensuring theDA structure is served & enabled by the mix of right people, skills, and capabilities that are matched to ecosystem needs.
Identify capability or capacity gaps and collaborate with functional leaders to address them.
Continuously ensure the PPoC team structure to reflect strategic priorities, market dynamics & emerging customer expectations.
CX-Facing Organization Leadership
Lead, coach, and empower PJPs, DAPs, and other CX-facing roles to deliver impactful customer engagement, generating actionable insights that inform and enrich the Disease Area strategy.
Design and sustain the CX-facing organization by ensuring clarity in role purpose, mission, and accountabilities.
Provide strategic clarity, coaching, and performance insights to empower PPoCs across ecosystems to deliver meaningful outcomes.
Partner with capability and learning functions to co-create targeted development and upskilling plans aligned with current and future business needs.
Collaborate closely with senior leaders and functional partners to ensure the CX organization continuously evolves to meet strategic and customer-driven priorities.
People Development
Inspire and coach individuals toward performance excellence and continuous development, aligning with Roche’s leadership and growth expectations.
Conduct regular one-to-one check-ins and ongoing talent discussions to identify aspirations, strengths, and development needs.
Partner with enabling and capability-building teams to translate identified needs into structured learning and training programs.
Provide strategic oversight to ensure each customer-facing role has a tailored, impactful development plan that supports both business priorities and future talent readiness.
Foster a high-performance, learning-oriented culture built on coaching, mentoring, and shared accountability for growth and results.

Disease Area Strategy Enablement & Partnership
Partner with ISLs to drive the end-to-end Disease Area (DA) strategic planning process, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
Support ISLs in strategy setting and translating priorities into actionable, patient-centric outcomes.
Ensure customer insights, ecosystem needs & patient perspectives are embedded within the DA strategy.
Proactively address roadblocks & barriers to accelerate the strategy realization.
Partner with ISL, marketing, and other enabling functions to ensure alignment and collective accountability toward DA outcomes.
Coach & mentor the customer facing team members to operationalize and translate DA strategic priorities & short term outcomes into actionable & measurable impactful outcomes that are in line & fits their Cx needs.
License to Operate
Ensure integrity, compliance and maintain our licence to operate in any external engagements, partnerships, collaborations, interfaces, decisions, negotiations, and contracting in Egypt.
Ensure that the function proactively engages with internal compliance and legal resources to ensure full compliance before taking action and/or committing Roche to activities externally.
Who You Are
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related health field. A Master’s degree in Health Economics, Public Health, PharmD, or MBA is a strong advantage.
You bring 7+ years of experience in the biotech, or healthcare industry, ideally in senior customer facing roles; As Access, Sales, Medical, or Marketing.
You have the ability to build, develop, challenge & grow team members coaching & mentoring capabilities.
You lead directly or indirectly with empathy & authenticity, mobilizing cross-functional teams toward shared goals. Through trust and collaboration.
You demonstrate sharp strategic foresight and a deep understanding of the Cx & pt journey that are translated into actionable goals while navigating the complex & ambiguous HC ecosystem.
