Integration Engineer

About the Role

We're seeking a talented Integration Engineer who can bridge complex systems, ensure HIPAA compliance, and deliver seamless integrations for our US-based clients. If you thrive on solving intricate data flows, excel at API architecture, and have a strong understanding of healthcare security standards, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure integration pipelines using HL7, FHIR, REST/SOAP APIs
• Maintain HIPAA-aligned data handling, privacy protocols, and breach-response procedures
• Collaborate with product, development, and compliance teams across US time zones
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance for real-time healthcare data exchange
• Document integration processes and maintain compliance standards
• Ensure system interoperability and data integrity across platforms

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in system integration or healthcare IT
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare data security standards
• Hands-on experience with HL7, FHIR, and healthcare data standards
• Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs and integration middleware
• Experience with data mapping, transformation, and ETL processes
• Understanding of healthcare workflows and EHR/EMR systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or cloud-based integration platforms
• Knowledge of Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, or similar integration engines
• Familiarity with database management (SQL, NoSQL)
• Background in agile development environments
• Experience working with US-based healthcare clients
