INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ATTORNEY

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Intellectual Property Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of intellectual property law and have experience in various legal areas, including patent law.

Duties

  • Preparing, prosecuting, and managing patent and trademark applications and other documents relating to patent and trademark prosecution.
  • Communicate with clients, other attorneys and staff, and government offices regarding application status, filings, and procedural requirements.
  • Managing and coordinating international patent and trademark filings and communicating with foreign counsel.
  • Overseeing U.S. and international patent prosecution dockets to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Preparing patent and trademark clearance searches and opinion letters.
  • Drafting and responding to IP-related cease-and-desist letters.
  • Counsel clients regarding IP-related contracts and associated documentation.
  • Assisting in IP litigation.
  • Staying up to date with development in IP law and practice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

  • Patent Prosecution: 4 years (Required)
